Quilters by the Sea donates baby quilts, pillowcases for Mother's Day Benefit

The donation supports the Pregnancy Crisis Center in Daytona Beach.

The Quilters by the Sea of Ormond Beach made and donated 107 baby quilts, 62 pillowcases, and various bibs for the Mother’s Day Benefit at the Prince of Peace, supporting the Pregnancy Crisis Center in Daytona Beach.

Additionally in April, Quilters by the Sea was recognized for sewing over 250 pillowcases for Ryan's Case for Smiles - Jacksonville/Daytona in the last six months. The national nonprofit organization helps kids with cancer and other serious illnesses "feel better to heal better" by delivering pillow cases sewn with love to various local hospitals.   Special recognition was given to Julie Zawislak who sewed more than 100 pillowcases.
