10:48 p.m. — State Road 100 west of Belle Terre Parkway
Possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. A Florida Highway Patrol trooper saw a car heading eastbound at an estimated 70 mph in S.R. 100.'s 50-mph zone.
The trooper conducted a traffic stop and walked up to the driver's side window.
The driver was a 31-year-old woman who had bloodshot eyes and admitted that she didn't have a driver's license.
When the trooper asked her her name, she gave a name, but when he asked her again moments later, she gave a different name.
The trooper had dispatch check law enforcement databases for both names. Both turned out to be fake.
The trooper removed the woman from the car to place her in handcuffs and found that she'd been sitting on top of drug paraphernalia, and had more of it in her purse and the driver's side door panel — including a syringe containing heroin residue.
The trooper arrested her.
11:18 a.m. — State Road 11 north of County Road 304
Possession of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A deputy stopped a car for following too closely behind the car in front of it.
When the driver lowered her window, the deputy smelled marijuana.
The driver admitted that she didn't have a medical marijuana card, then "willingly presented paraphernalia items with a burnt green leafy residue, as well as a jar from the glovebox with green leafy substance within," according to the deputy's report.
The deputy found marijuana and cocaine in the car, along with drug paraphernalia, and arrested the woman.
